Receiving fantastic reviews for her performances and new album, Sarah is currently touring Britain and Ireland (34 dates in 45 days). KEITH WALTERS ON SUDDEN OAK DEATH

On Wednesday 9th May Keith Walters from DEFRA was interviewed by Sara Hinchliffe on Coffee Culture. He told us all about how Sudden Oak Death (a form of Phytophthora) is affecting natural and garden trees and shrubs in the UK, and what we can do to help protect them. You don't need to be a gardener to be able to make a difference, you just need to keep an eye on the plants around you. On Sunday the 6th of March 2011, Tony Fitton talked to Sandi Thom about her #1 Blues Chart single "House of the Rising Sun", working with Joe Bonamassa and what's coming up from her next

Sandi Shot to fame in 2006 with her debut single "I Wish I Was a Punk Rocker (With Flowers in my Hair)" which topped the chart in seven countries and led to the number 1 album "Smile ... It Confuses People", after releasing her latest album "Merchants & Thieves" in May 2010. The latest single "House of the Rising Sun" has been Number One on the Blues chart since it's release!

JANE DANSON

On the 29th of May 2010, Halifax celebrated Neighbours Day and Phoenix FM hosted the event. Jane Danson was a VIP guest at this event. Flo and Ellen got a chance to meet the star and interview her.

Jane Danson is famous for playing the role of Leanne Battersby in Coronation Street. The Battersby family were dubbed the "Neighbours From Hell" and made an immediate impact on the long-running show's audience. Jane also played a nurse in the drama series A&E and also played Gemma Osbourne in the ITV police drama The Bill in 2002.

LESTER NOEL

Lester Noel came into the studio to talk to Howard Priestley on the 22nd of April 2010 on Soul City.

Howard's special guest Lester Noel, formerly of Beats International who had a number one hit with "Dub Be Good To Me" in 1990. Lester is now teaching at Ravenscliffe High School here in Halifax, aswell as running an under 16's football team in Todmorden.

ROSS ADAMS

Actor and voice over artist Ross Adams (star of the BBC3 Comedy series The Gemma Factor) came into the studio on the 17th of April 2010 to talk to Dean Wilkinson on the Saturday Breakfast Show.

Ross Adams came into talk about his role on the Gemma factor, plus his past jobs including the voicing of the Kelloggs Frosties advert - "They're Gonna Taste Great". Ross also tells of his plans for future projects.

JEREMY PRITCHARD from EVERYTHING EVERYTHING

Jeremy Pritchard, bassist and vocalist from indie band Everything Everything, spoke to Wayne Illingworth on the Lunchtime Live on the 15th of April 2010.

Jeremy spoke to Wayne about being in a band that is on the rise on the Manchester music scene, the recording of their debut album (Man alive, released on August the 30th through the Polydor record label) and more.

JON GOMM

Jon Gomm came into the studio on the 21st of March 2010 to talk to Nick, Shaun, Mickey and Michelle (Y.M.C.) on the YUBS show.

Jon Gomm is a well established artist throughout the Yorkshire music scene, and can easily fill any venue he plays with an ever increasing fan base. With an eccentric style of playing the guitar, using the different parts almost as different instruments.

He came in to the studio to talk about himself and his unique style, promoting upcoming gigs and his album Don't Panic and chose some songs including some from the unsigned Matt Bentley.

JOE BROWN

Joe Brown talked to Flo during the Tea for Two show on Monday the 25th of January 2010

Joe Brown was one of the original Rock & Roll Stars to come out of the UK. One of the first UK session men, his early career highlights include playing guitar with Gene Vincent, Eddie Cochran, Johnny Cash and other US stars when they came over to Europe.

Joe went on to top the charts with his own records, had The Beatles open shows for him and in a career packed with musical highlights has also presented several National series of the Joe Brown Show on UK TV, two series Rock Show for BBC Radio 2 and finds time to do around 100 live shows a year in the UK.
