THE GREAT GENERATION 2010

Talia Gianotti, Billy Painter and Rowan Carter came in to Drivetime on the 26th of November 2009 to talk to Rob Bray about the Great Generation Project 2010 and what they're doing to raise the £20,000 needed, over the next few weeks - listen to the interview here

THE HALIFAX PARISH CHURCH BECOME THE HALIFAX MINSTER

Phoenix 96.7 FM, broadcast the event live and repeated it again at 2pm on Sunday afternoon. It was a very big day for Calderdale, and Phoenix was there broadcasting the whole thing, both live and afterwards with special interviews.

Not only did this mark a new era for the Halifax Parish Church but was also the first time Phoenix FM had broadcast an event live from outside its Dean Clough-based studio.

SKELLIG FLIES INTO TOWN

The Birmingham Stage Company has come to the Victoria Theatre, and they've brought David Almond's beloved character Skellig with them.

Bringing to life the story of the "nobody" from "nowhere", the cast does a great job of telling the story, with brilliant live music performed by the cast throughout, creating a great and compelling atmosphere.

A very enjoyable night that's not just for kids, Skellig is definitely worth a watch.

Danny Swindells went to the Victoria Theatre to interview Dean, who plays Michael, and Neal Foster (Manager of The Birmingham Stage Company) who plays Skellig, listen to the full interview here
