Current and future engineering works on the railways directly affecting Calderdale

On Saturday 25 and Sunday 26 July 2009
engineering work will be taking place at various sites on the Calder Valley between Bradford, Halifax, Dewsbury, Brighouse and Hebden Bridge.

Trains are only able to run on parts of the route and a revised timetable of trains and bus replacement services will operate with significantly longer journey times.

MAJOR WORKS AT HALIFAX STATION

16 MAY to EARLY AUGUST 2009
HALIFAX STATION WILL BE CLOSED AT WEEKENDS DUE TO
THE REBUILDING OF THE STATION.
ALL RAIL SERVICES THROUGH HALIFAX RAILWAY STATION WILL BE REPLACED BY TEMPORARY BUS SERVICES.
