Red Pepper is a little gem at the top of Broad street in Halifax and has been established for 9 years. It has a distinctly relaxed feel which comes, in no small part, from the hard working family duo in the kitchen, Cheryl and Steve.

The food is freshly prepared to order and the menu offers a la carte and daily specials.

The style of cuisine is Mediterranean and has a definite 'home cooked' quality as if you were a guest in a friends home - and I may add, delicious.

As an example I had mussels followed by a chicken Souvlaki (succulent chicken skewered and char grilled whilst Gemma went for Tempura prawns with Mediterranean sausage Conchiglioni to follow.

In conclusion we would both go back again without hesitation.
